WINERY AND BIODYNAMIC CULTIVATION
“The wine-growing and oenology of Vitis Terrarum have a bold and personal style”
The vineyard of cabernet sauvignon surrounds the handmade winery, which was constructed in the year 2000. It is a functional building, of Castilian style, which houses the entire wine making process, from the entry of the noble grapes up to
the exit of the wine bottled in boxes.
The wine-growing and oenology of Vitis Terrarum have a bold and personal style, which departs from the original concept of classic wine making. The creation of the wines begins in the vineyard. This is why we use skills of biodynamic cultivation which respect the environment, and all agricultural works is performed manually and with meticulous care.
We use only mixtures of fermented organic sheep residuesin the place of chemical fertilizers. We do not use herbicides or pesticides.
Neither do we resort to additional irrigation to achieve particular soil composition (Sandy Clay Loam) and in the interest of obtaining a low yield of production.
